1. Introduction
1.1 Our policy lasts seven (7) days.  If seven (7) days has passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
1.2 To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
1.3 Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
2. Additional non-returnable items
(a) Gift cards
(b) Downloadable software products
(c) Some health and personal care items
2.1 To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
2.2 Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
2.3 There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
(a) Book with obvious signs of use
(b) CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
(c) Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
(d) Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery
3. Refunds 
3.1 Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
3.2 If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
3.3 If your refund is rejected, the item will not be resent back to you, it will be destroyed without refund.
3.4 All items are sent using Australia Post and are sufficiently packaged to avoid damage. All items are sent in an undamaged and fully working order unless stated otherwise.
3.5 Refunds are not possible if items are damage in transit or by Australia post, all care is taken to ensure the items arrive to you undamaged.
4. Late or missing refunds
4.1 If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account again and ensure you have the right account and details.
4.2 Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. This can take up to seven (7) days.
4.3 Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
4.4 If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contact@thehalfpenny.com.au.
5. Sale items or Specials
5.1 Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items or specials cannot be refunded.
6. Exchanges
6.1 We only replace items if a replacement is available.  Be aware that you may not receive the exact same replacement item(s) in the exact same condition. The condition will vary. In many situations it is a “one off” item.
7. Gifts & Gift Cards (Not Applicable)
7.1 If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
7.2 If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
8. Shipping
8.1 To return your product, you should mail your product to: Bohle Plains, Townsville, QLD, 4817, Australia. Please email us for the exact postage address.
8.2 You are wholly responsible for the payment for your own return shipping costs for returning your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
8.3 Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
8.4 If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
